How does the platform work?

Welcome to BOOM’s platform! 🤗 By using our platform you’ll be able to: - Check your assignments on the dashboard 👀 - Accept or decline an assignment ✅ - Update your available times 🗓 - Change the information on your profile (Contact details, Equipment, Bio information, etc.) ✏️ - Go through your list of payments to prepare your invoices 🧾

Where can I find my assignments?

You’ll find your assignments on your Dashboard, in the Assignments section. The status of the assignments is displayed in different colours: - PENDING: assignments that have been assigned to you, but that you still haven’t accepted or declined. - ACCEPTED: assignments that you have accepted. - POST PROCESSING: assignments for which you have uploaded the visual content required and that are still being reviewed by our team. - QUALITY CONTROL: assignments that have been reviewed by our...

Where can I find the assignment’s information and details?

You can see the information and details after you click on the assignment and then the “Details” button. You’ll then be able to see the amount and type of visual content requested by the client’s package, the contact details (name, telephone number, email address) of the client/owner, the address of the location and any other information or details required for the assignment (in the section “Content Details”).

Where can I find the client’s Guidelines?

You can see the client’s Guidelines after you click on the assignment and then the “Details” button. You then have to click on the link “Client Guidelines”, where you’ll find all the quality and technical information to produce the visual content as requested by the client 📓. You’ll see sample photos, short videos and gifs that will help you to understand what needs to be done better, as well as what to avoid, in order to deliver the best visual content to the client!

I am not available on that day and time, is it possible to reschedule an assignment?

Before rescheduling an assignment directly with the client/owner, please remember to ask us first if it is possible to change the date or time. Some assignments have a fixed date and time that the client/owner has specifically requested that can’t be changed. You can contact us at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) and ask us if it is possible to change the date and time for a particular assignment. We will reply within 24 hours ☎️.

Am I entitled to travel expenses for my assignments?

You may be entitled to reimbursement for travel expenses if expressly stated in the assignment. If you see an extra amount next to the payment, it means that you're entitled to be reimbursed your travel expenses 🚗💨.

The reimbursement amount for travel expenses I see on my assignment is incorrect, who should I contact?

Travel expenses are calculated automatically by our algorithm based on the distance travelled 📍. If you think there may be a mistake, you can contact us at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) and we will reply within 24 hours.

How do cancellations work?

Clients may cancel or reschedule assignments. However, if an assignment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 12 hours to go before the start time, you'll be entitled to 50% of the assignment payment, and if an assignment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 6 hours to go before the start time you'll be entitled to 100% of the assignment payment. Why am I not getting any assignments?

The number of assignments depends on our clients' requests, so if you haven't had any assignments lately, it probably means that fewer assignments have been scheduled recently. Unfortunately this is out of our control and depends on our clients requesting assignments in a given period and in the area you operate in. How can I set my available times?

You can set your available times on your profile by clicking on the “Add new unavailability” button that you'll find in the top left of your Dashboard 🗓. You’ll be able to set the days and times when you are unavailable to take on assignments. Please remember that by doing so we can only send you assignments when you are free, so please always keep your available times up to date on your profile.

How can I update my profile information (email address, location address, etc.)?

You can change your information on your profile whenever you want by clicking the “Account” icon that you'll find in the top right of your Dashboard. We kindly ask you to always update your information whenever your email address changes, when you have new equipment , or when you change your location. By doing so we can always be sure that all your information is correct! ✌️

Where can I find my Accounting section?

You’ll find your Accounting section at the top of your Dashboard. In this section you’ll find the list of the assignments you've completed and your travel expenses, broken down by month 💰. Remember that you should refer to this section when preparing your monthly invoices and that you can also download an invoice template from the platform that you can send back to us 🧾.
