When do I have to upload the content to the platform?

Photos must be uploaded by 11:59 p.m. (the assignment location's local time) on the working day when the assignment is carried out ⏲️. No need to edit your photos - that’s on us! ✌️If photos are uploaded later, you may incur a penalty, as detailed in your contract.

How do I upload content to the platform?

Log in to your Boom account. Under the Calendar or Assignment tab, find the order you want to upload the photos to. You’ll be able to see 2 separate upload boxes in the “photoshoot details” section of the platform. In the first one, you’ll be able to upload your photos, in the second one you can upload the release form if requested by your assignment. If not requested, leave it empty. We only accept RAW file formats (e.g. NEF, CR3, ARW...). Videos or other visual formats (e.g. JPG, PNG...)...

I can't upload the content to the platform, what should I do?

Please let us know via email at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]). Please attach a supporting screenshot of the page causing issues. This will help our team fix the issue faster! 🙏 If this happens, you won't incur any penalty for uploading the photos on the platform after the deadline.

I forgot to upload part of the content or a document that was requested, where can I send it?

You can send us an email to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) with a short note and the order ID.

Is the content to be selected by me or by you?

Do the first selection yourself, but keep a few extra shots just in case 🧐. We like to have slightly more than the minimum number of photos required so that we can make a subjective selection of photos to be delivered to the client.

Can I send the content directly to the business owner/client?

No, the visual content should only be submitted to us. We will take care of post-production, then deliver it to the client from our end 📫. If the business owner/client insists on getting the content from you, please tell them to write to us via [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) and we will take it from there.

I had an incident with a business owner/client during my assignment, who should I report it to?

How does the rating work?

The assessment is based on the content submitted and how closely it follows the guidelines ⭐. In more detail, it is an average of the 4 different parameters: - Accuracy (0-5 stars) - Equipment (0 - 5 stars) - Composition (0 - 5 stars) - Technique (0 - 5 stars) For more information, please contact us at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]).

Should I save a copy of the files for safekeeping?

Yes, please do! We recommend you keep a copy of the files for at least 15 days after the session.

Can I share the visual contents on my social media/website/blog? Are there any rules?

No, as per your contract you may not share official pictures on your social media/website/blog. However, you may post links to a client’s website where your pictures are featured. Also feel free to share behind-the-scenes snaps on our Instagram page and we’ll be happy to repost them. We love to see creators in their element! 🤩
