How do cancellations work?

Clients may cancel or reschedule assignments.
However, if an assignment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 12 hours to go before the start time, you'll be entitled to 50% of the assignment payment, and if an assignment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 6 hours to go before the start time you'll be entitled to 100% of the assignment payment.
If an assignment is cancelled or rescheduled more than 12 hours before the start time, no payment will be made.
You too may cancel or reschedule, if you are no longer available at a certain date and time. You are permitted to accept and then decline an assignment on the platform, but please bear in mind that if you cancel with less than 12 hours to go before the start time you’ll be charged a penalty fee of 100% of the assignment payment.
If you cancel an assignment on the platform that you had previously accepted with more than 12 hours to go before the start time, there will be no penalty.
If you don’t go to a scheduled assignment without informing us beforehand that you are not available (via the platform or via chat/email) you’ll be charged a penalty fee of 100% of the assignment payment.
We kindly ask you to always inform us in advance via chat (typing chat.boom.co in your browser)/email (writing to [email protected]) if you are no longer available for an assignment that is going to start in less than 12 hours, so that we can work together to find the best solution.
